Tree Host respects the rights of creators. If you believe a server or file hosted on Tree Host infringes your copyright, send us a notice as described below. We handle notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. ยง 512) and similar laws.
Send notices to our copyright agent:
Notices that leave something out may not be valid, and we may ask you to complete them. Sending a false notice on purpose can make you liable for damages.
When we get a valid notice we remove or disable the material, tell the server owner (with a copy of the notice, minus your private contact details where the law allows) and log it with an action number.
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with:
We forward valid counter-notices to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we got the counter-notice.
We close the accounts of repeat infringers. An account that gets 3 valid notices that are not successfully countered within 12 months is terminated, along with its servers. See section 5 of our Terms of Service.
For anything that isn't copyright (abuse, cheating, harmful content), contact our support address. Reports of child sexual abuse material are handled immediately and reported to the authorities.
